Restaurant in Davos

For up-to-date information, please contact the local restaurants directly or check their official websites. It is recommended that you make reservations in advance if you wish to dine during the WEF in Davos. This applies in particular to upmarket restaurants or places that are popular with event participants.
Public transport at the WEF
The proven public transport concept during the WEF has noticeably reduced road traffic. Davos Public Transport (VBD) operates three small-bus routes within the town during the WEF, while regular large buses run between Glaris and Davos Platz station and between Laret and Davos Dorf station. The Rhaetian Railway also runs a shuttle train between Davos Dorf and Davos Platz, including the temporary stop “Davos Congress/Ice Stadium.” All VBD services (between Davos Glaris and Davos Laret) and all RhB trains between Davos Platz and Davos Dorf are free of charge during the WEF Annual Meeting.
Shuttle busses - Route details: Between Monday, 19 January, and Friday, 23 January 2026, small VBD-branded minibuses will run on three routes within Davos, daily from 7 AM to 8 PM. They aim for a 15-minute frequency, but due to traffic conditions, no fixed timetable will be provided. Stops are marked with signs.
Blue Line: From Davos Dorf station to Symond parking and back, then along Flüelastrasse to Stilli.
Green Line: From Davos Platz station to Postplatz, via Platzstrasse and Obere Strasse to Hotel Belvédère, returning along the Promenade via Postplatz to Davos Platz station.
Violet Line: From Davos Platz station via Mattastrasse to Hertistrasse (connecting to the RhB shuttle at the temporary “Congress/Ice Stadium” stop), then along Talstrasse back to Davos Platz station.
VBD busses: Outside Davos, VBD operates two routes, both served by regular large buses. Their schedule follows the public transport timetable mentioned above:
Red Line from Davos Dorf station to Landhaus Laret and back
Yellow Line from Davos Platz station to Glaris Ortolfi and back.
Rhaetian Railway (RhB): During the WEF, the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) runs shuttle trains between Davos Dorf and Davos Platz, stopping at the temporary “Davos Congress/Ice Stadium” station with direct access to the Congress Center. From Monday, 19 to Friday, 23 January 2026, two shuttles per hour run in each direction. Additionally, all regular trains stop at the temporary station between 6:25 AM and 7:45 PM, greatly increasing capacity. The station features a paved platform, ramp, railing, and lighting, with an RhB staff member on duty from 6:20 AM to 8 PM to assist passengers.
